Alt.town

Alt.town is a platform that enables users to trade and participate in the value growth of virtual creators represented as digital assets. The value of each creator on Alt.town is shaped by their content production and fandom engagement.

Virtual celebrities—including VTubers, virtual influencers, and virtual idols—issue a digital asset called “DNA” upon joining Alt.town. This asset serves as a representation of their market value within the platform. Users, such as fans and Web3 supporters, may purchase the DNA of their preferred virtual celebrities, anticipate potential value appreciation, and access exclusive content provided by the creators. The price of each DNA asset is determined by user-to-user trades via an on-chain order book system.

TOWN is the governance token of Alt.town. It is used for DNA transactions, external transfers, staking, and platform governance activities.

The service launched in December 2024, and aims to foster the growth of virtual celebrity value through fandom participation, realizing this growth via digital asset trading within the ecosystem.
