AOL (America Online)

Launched in July 2025, AOL is a community-driven memecoin inspired by the legacy of early internet culture in the United States. The project references “America Online” — a widely recognized internet service provider that played a foundational role in connecting millions of Americans to the internet during the 1990s and early 2000s. By drawing on nostalgic themes such as dial-up modems and online chat culture, $AOL aims to revive the cultural memory of that digital era in a modern, tokenized format.

$AOL was created as a test token by Trump's WLFI advisor @cryptogle, as cultural token with no formal affiliation to the original America Online brand. It was taken over by the community and is not designed around a utility-based roadmap, but rather centers on community participation, internet-native humor, and the symbolic value of digital identity in the memecoin space.

The project positions itself within the broader “Made in America” narrative, celebrating themes of free expression, open internet access, and a distinctly U.S.-based digital aesthetic.

$AOL operates on the Solana blockchain and the total token supply was fixed at launch and distributed through a fair, open-market launch on Bonk's letsbonk.fun launchpad.
