Asteroid (ASTEROID) is a token on the Bags platform associated with the SpaceX mascot story. The token directs 100% of creator royalties to Liv's Stargrace Foundation.

Liv Perrotto, who passed away in early 2025 at age 15 after battling pediatric cancer, designed a Shiba Inu plush toy named Asteroid. Inspired by Elon Musk’s dog Floki, the plush flew aboard SpaceX’s Polaris Dawn mission in September 2024 as the crew’s zero-gravity indicator. Before her passing, Liv asked Musk whether Asteroid could become SpaceX’s official mascot; Musk later confirmed the plush as the mascot, and SpaceX offers an official Asteroid plush for sale.

Launched on Bags.fm (a Solana-based platform for token creation where creators earn ongoing royalties from trades), the $ASTEROID token uses the ticker and narrative tied to this story. The project routes all transaction royalties (currently generating over $272,000 as of late June 2026) through The Giving Block to Liv's Stargrace Foundation. The foundation, established by Liv’s mother Rebecca Perrotto, supports families facing pediatric cancer, promotes space exploration inspiration for children, and provides opportunities for Christian education.
