AxonDAO Governance Token

AXGT is the governance and utility token for AxonDAO, a decentralized organization focused on advancing the future of Decentralized Science (DeSci). By empowering "innovators, scientists, and visionaries," AXGT aims to drive transformative changes in scientific research and healthcare.

AxonDAO, originally established as a telehealth-clinical data startup in 2013, transitioned to a DAO in 2021. The $AXGT token plays a central role in this evolution, enabling token holders to participate in governance, vote on proposals, and direct the allocation of research funding. This decentralized approach ensures that power is redistributed from traditional institutions to individual researchers and communities, fostering a more transparent, secure, and objective scientific landscape.

One of AxonDAO's significant projects is A+ Voice, which uses biometric precognitive voice AI+ systems to facilitate decentralized clinical research. This project allows participants to contribute their voice data to studies while retaining full ownership and control—mirroring how voice data used to target ads can instead be utilized to benefit individuals financially and support scientific advancements.

AxonDAO has achieved notable milestones, including its approval in 2023 for NVIDIA's Inception Program, which provides advanced computational resources to support its research initiatives. The organization has also received recognition in the DeSci community, earning endorsements in two Gitcoin Rounds and a Polygon DeSci Voucher.

Looking ahead, AxonDAO's roadmap includes pioneering studies in microdosing protocols, PTSD research for first responders and veterans, biometric studies on dementia and Alzheimer's, ultrasound therapies, and clinical trials for psychedelic therapy sessions.
