BeatSwap is a protocol that structures and authenticates the lifecycle of creative intellectual property (IP) rights on-chain. Its framework models how creative works move through creation, rights attribution, licensing, distribution, and monetization, and provides infrastructure that records these transitions in a verifiable digital format. By standardizing IP data and licensing activity, BeatSwap enables creative rights to function as real-world assets (RWA) within systems that require authenticated ownership and usage records.

The foundation of the protocol is an IP metadata oracle that maintains structured information on creative works, including authorship, composition, performance data, publishing relationships, rights holders, and historical licensing activity. These records support lifecycle tracking and ensure that IP provenance can be verified in a consistent and transparent manner. The oracle also supports tokenized representations of IP rights, enabling applications to reference authenticated metadata during interactions with rights-based assets.

BeatSwap incorporates modules for validating IP usage within the licensing lifecycle. Licensing events are recorded, verified, and evaluated using the IP Licensing Index (IPL), a non-transferable analytical token that reflects proportional participation across IP assets. IPL serves as the reference standard for distributing rewards, determining contributions, and contextualizing licensing interactions. Snapshot-based indexing ensures that lifecycle and reward calculations are grounded in verifiable data tied to authenticated licensing activity.

Several user-facing components are built on this lifecycle and data foundation. Space is a creator-focused social media environment where creators interact with their fans, share updates, and present their IP rights and lifecycle progress. It provides a structured interface for community engagement centered around creative assets. RWA Launcher offers infrastructure for tokenizing creative rights and preparing them for participation in RWA-based economic mechanisms. RWA DEX supports the exchange of tokenized IP rights and enables liquidity formation around rights-based assets.

BTX is the utility token used across the BeatSwap ecosystem. It is employed for licensing rewards, ecosystem incentives, and interactions with modules associated with rights-based activity. Token supply behavior, vesting mechanics, and accounting structures are governed by smart contracts designed for predictable and transparent execution.
