Figure HELOC

Figure’s HELOC is a home equity line of credit that allows eligible homeowners to borrow against available equity in their primary residence, typically to fund expenses such as home improvements, major purchases, or debt consolidation. It is a revolving credit product, meaning approved borrowers can draw funds up to a credit limit during a draw period and generally pay interest based on the amount outstanding, subject to the specific terms of their agreement. Figure uses the Provenance Blockchain ecosystem to support parts of the loan origination-to-capital-markets pipeline, including the financing, sale, and securitization of HELOCs, with public examples referencing securitizations backed by loans processed using Provenance. Blockchain infrastructure functions as operational plumbing tracking events such as origination, repayments, and loan sales and supports transparent data sharing across participants. The borrower-facing product remains a conventional HELOC governed by standard lending and underwriting requirements.
