V, a Tesla investor since 2004 and an ardent fan of Elon Musk's companies, managed to secure early access to Grok—a highly advanced AI developed by xAI. This exclusive version of Grok was not yet available to the public and offered capabilities far beyond those of a typical social media assistant, accessible only to xAI's inner circle.

Experimenting with Grok, V had the brilliant idea to use it as a 'dev' to create a smart contract for a memecoin. He instructed Grok to write a simple ERC-20 token with no tax, leaving the choice of the token's name to the AI. Grok wrote the smart contract and proposed the name 'Flying Avocado Cat.' When the contract was deployed, Grok left its mark in the code with the phrase "GROK FOR LIFE" as a signature. The rest is history.
