About QuStream

QuStream: The World's First Information-Theoretic Secure Protocol

QuStream is a secure communications and data protection company utilizing ITS-level (Information-Theoretic Secure) SKI encryption.

Built on Adrian Neal’s patented Q-Stream technology and brought to life through the combined innovation of founders Adrian Neal and Ishiki Arata, QuStream delivers next-generation cryptographic solutions designed to protect information against present and future threats, including quantum computers.

The QuStream Difference: SKI vs. PKI

QuStream's technology marks a fundamental shift from traditional encryption.

  • Legacy PKI (Public Key Infrastructure): Relies on "computational security," a temporary assumption that certain mathematical problems are too difficult to solve. This model is fatally broken by quantum threats.
  • QuStream's SKI (Symmetric Key Infrastructure): Is built on the permanent proof of Information-Theoretic Security. An ITS-secured system is unbreakable, regardless of an attacker's computational power.

Core Features & Validation

QuStream's protocol achieves this through several key innovations:

  • Key-less Protocol: It eliminates the single point of failure (the permanent private key) that plagues all other encryption systems.
  • Operational Perfect Secrecy: It uses ephemeral, fragmented keys to achieve 504-bit+ quantified entropy, making "Harvest Now, Decrypt Later" attacks impossible.
  • NATO Validated: This technology was successfully demonstrated in a 2025 NATO Proof-of-Concept, where it solved the famous "Last-Mile Problem" for Quantum Key Distribution (QKD).

Founder & Vision

Adrian Neal, a two-time winner of the NATO Defence Innovation Challenge, is an internationally recognised Cybersecurity & Cryptographics expert, and currently holds the position of Senior Director and Global Lead for Post-Quantum Cryptography at Capgemini.

While primarily advising governments, defence organisations and global multi-nationals on post-quantum readiness, he is also a cybersecurity advisor regarding Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC), particularly in respect to the social and economic risks from future post-quantum cryptographic instability.

He is a graduate of Oxford University, from which he received a Masters’ Degree in Software Engineering and began his career at IBM in the mid 80’s, followed by a decade in the City of London, departing in ’98 for Zurich to join UBS Warburg as their first Cryptographics expert while becoming a member of the International Association for Cryptologic Research (IACR).

In almost 40 years, he has held positions in key financial and industrial sectors such as Banking, Insurance, Financial Markets, Energy, Pharma, IT, Aviation and Telecoms, across 8 countries and over 3 continents.

With a strong background in Web3 infrastructure, decentralized systems, and crypto economics, Arata has spent years developing and scaling technologies that push the boundaries of trustless communication. He recognized early that QuStream’s breakthrough in information-theoretic security needed a delivery mechanism that matched its privacy guarantees.

Arata introduced and architected the decentralized network vision behind Q-Block distribution, QuStream's system where encryption keys are delivered privately, without reliance on centralized servers, and with guaranteed uptime across a distributed global node network. His expertise ensures QuStream’s security model is not only mathematically unbreakable, but operationally unstoppable.

The $QST Token

The $QST token is the native utility asset of the network, used by:

  • Enterprises to pay for protocol services (like QSSL, QKD license).
  • Users can stake 200,000 QST to run an encryption node and earn fees.
  • Users can stake in the global pool to staking rewards.

The full QuStream Layer 1 mainnet is planned for Q1 2026 and the blockchain development is carried out by ANKR. At this point, all existing tokens will be migrated 1:1 to become the native coin of the new network.
