Rujira

Rujira is an application layer built on THORChain that aims to create an open and fair financial system using native digital assets. It provides a connected suite of decentralized financial products that allow users to trade, lend, and earn across multiple blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and XRP, without relying on asset wrapping or centralized intermediaries.

The platform is designed to simplify access to decentralized finance by solving fragmentation across chains, wallets, and products. It combines multiple services into a single interface where users can interact directly from their own wallets while maintaining full control over their assets.

Rujira operates using native assets through a model referred to as Secured Assets. These are 1:1 backed representations held within THORChain’s decentralized vaults, allowing users to access cross-chain functionality without traditional bridging risks. This structure is intended to provide a more secure way to use assets like Bitcoin in decentralized finance.

The ecosystem is centered around RUJI Trade, an orderbook-based exchange where assets are priced and traded. Surrounding this core are multiple interconnected products that work together within the same system. Automated market making strategies provide liquidity directly into the orderbook, while lending markets introduce debt positions that can be liquidated into active trading pairs. Perpetual markets add funding flows between participants. These components interact continuously, creating a system where liquidity, trading, and risk management reinforce each other.

This interconnected design allows the platform to operate as a unified environment rather than a set of isolated products. Users can choose different forms of participation, including trading, liquidity provision, or strategy-based allocation, depending on their preferences.

Rujira includes a system of automated strategies that abstract complexity and allow users to access different risk and return profiles without active management. These strategies interact directly with the trading infrastructure and contribute to overall market efficiency.

The platform uses Enshrined Oracles to provide price data across markets. These oracles are integrated at the protocol level and are designed to produce consistent and robust price feeds for trading, lending, and liquidation processes.

Rujira is open source and has undergone security audits. The system is designed to prioritize transparency and verifiability, allowing users to inspect how it operates and how funds are managed.

The RUJI token has a fixed supply and functions as a fee-sharing asset within the ecosystem. Revenue generated across the platform is converted into stable assets and distributed to RUJI stakers. The token does not provide governance rights and is focused on aligning participation with platform usage.
