Spurdo ($SPURDO) is a community-based ERC-20 token inspired by the internet meme character Spurdo Spärde, which originated on Finnish imageboards in the late 2000s. The character became a staple of early internet humor, gaining popularity on forums such as Ylilauta, 4chan, and BitcoinTalk. Often considered one of the first meme characters to emerge in tandem with the rise of digital subcultures, Spurdo is known for its deliberately misspelled and awkward speech patterns, representing a distinct form of online satire.
