What is USDPT?

USDPT is a GENIUS Act-compliant U.S. dollar stablecoin issued by Anchorage Digital Bank, N.A. (a U.S. national trust bank regulated by the OCC) on the Solana blockchain. It is redeemable 1:1 for USD, with reserves held in a combination of FDIC-insured U.S. bank accounts and the BlackRock Select Treasury Based Liquidity Fund (TFEXX).

Western Union is integrating USDPT into its global payments network through the Digital Asset Network, enabling purchase on licensed virtual currency exchanges, cash-outs at Western Union locations worldwide, a Visa-enabled spending app, and 24/7 money transfer receipts in select markets. Western Union does not issue, custody, or provide exchange services for USDPT.
